May 2022 bring you more happiness, success, love, and blessings!
1) S&P 500 (SPX)

The S&P 500 (SPX) dropped but found its support at around 4,300. The SPX has since risen above its 200MA (red line), indicating that the correction might be just over for the time being. Meanwhile, we should still monitor that the 50MA (blue line) remains above the 150 (orange line).
We can definitely expect more corrections for the rest of the year, and this is just one out of many to come. I always see the retracement to my advantage because I prefer to increase my allocation at a discount price. So naturally, I've added more allocation to MSFT, AMZN, GOOGL, and FB recently to name a few and it should give the portfolio a nice boost when it recovers.
**Disclaimer: this is not a stock recommendation because my time horizon and risk profile might be just different from yours.
2) United States Elections ( 2022 )
The 2022 United States elections will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022

In the table above, you can see how the S&P 500 has performed average one year return after Midterm Election that occurs every two years after a presidential election.
Since 1950, an average one-year return after Midterm election is about 15.1% as compared to 7.1% average on other years.
Votality would be the theme for the year but please do not panic if you see the market correcting and do take action by adding shares of good fundamental businesses to your watchlist for your portfolio!
When the market rebounds at the end of the year or the following year, your portfolio should be sitting on nice profits.
And if you are thinking of whether you should exit your portfolio now and buying them back at a lower price during the next correction my advice would be No because no one can predict the market with absolute certainty.
Simply because: What happens if you miss the stock market's best days?
I'm really excited for what's to come but the question is are you ready?
And if so "What's your game plan for 2022 ?"
